This year's MDE K-12 EL/MLL Coordinator Day will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024. 

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) English Learner/Multilingual Learner Coordinator Day is for K-12 English Learner and Multilingual Learner Program Coordinators from Minnesota School Districts and Charter Schools. This session will include updates from the Minnesota Department of Education related to English Learner programming and assessment as well as policy issues and other initiatives impacting multilingual learners in Minnesota. 

Registration for the MDE K-12 EL/MLL Coordinator Day includes continental breakfast, boxed lunch and an afternoon snack. Registration does NOT include parking (parking is self-pay).

Tentative Schedule (full schedule to be posted closer to event):

• 8:00 am - Registration, networking and continental breakfast
• 8:30 am-3:30 pm - Coordinator Meeting (includes general session, break for lunch, and breakout sessions)
